Ben Oakley
Born in 66 Ben started his working life in graphic design which also involved art direction for photographic and film shoots. He then moved into the film business full time where he started his own film production company. 'Secret River' Winning awards for different projects most notably at the Bristol film festival and working with some of the worlds' finest airheads. Bens' career path has been diverse a 'Creative Furball'. From lighting, furniture & product design, to strikingly beautiful mosaic installations.
Running alongside all Bens' pursuits lies his true passion 'The art world' and over the last three years he has gained momentum, producing some of his most visually engaging and thought provoking works to date. Using Hand cut Stencils, Spray paint, Acrylic and Emulsion Ben Oakleys' works are original, fresh and cleverly executed. 'Ben Oakley is a conceptual artist whose work doesn't stick to one style, medium or subject matter, "why listen to other peoples preconceptions about how to pigeon hole yourself, the whole purpose of art and creativity is to express oneself.'
